For the development of Kolofon App we use state-of-the-art distributed technologies. Advanced NFTs to be deployed using parachains from the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems. Polkadot (alongside its wild cousin Kusama), is a next-generation, fully decentralized network that is solving the biggest problems facing blockchains today: interoperability, power efficiency, scalability, speed, security, privacy, development and governance.

We don't want your digital art to have anything to do with carbon footprint. Polkadot is mentioned in various studies as an example of a greener blockchain protocol.

Polkadot is currently one of the most advanced blockchain networks in the ecosystem For this reason, Kolofon will deploy its NFT platform on parachains from this ecosystem. To take NFTs to the next level, we will use the amazing properties offered by the RMRK standard to generate advanced NFTs. These are compatible with any substrate-based or EVM-based blockchains such as Moonbeam or Astar Network. The platform aims to implement the use of new NFT protocols that are aligned with the philosophy of the platform as well as the needs of the community.

We will soon see some of these amazing implementations in Kolofon. We are constantly listening and learning from our community to create a product according to its needs.
